PRESENTATION OF THE COURSE

• Timetable (face-to-face session): Tuesdays from 07.00 to 09.00 pm.

CALENDAR

• Last day for dropping out: 26 August.
• Holidays: 01 November.
• End of the course: 13 December (2nd partial exam check).
• School reports delivery: 10 and 11 January 2017.
• Christmas holidays: from 22 December to 04 January 2017.

ASSESSMENT

• Evaluation: 50% Activities on the platform + 50% Exam 
• The final grade is the average of the results in the first and second parts of the course.
• 1st part of the course (Files 7-9): exams on 04 October.
• 2nd part of the course (Files 10-12): exams on 06 December. 
• Assessment of 5 skills (exams):
• Reading (20%)
• Writing (20%)
• Use of English (20%)
• Listening (20%)
• Speaking (20%)
• Passing grade: 80 points and 80% of attendance (=11 face-to-face sessions; 03 absences maximum).
• 5 consecutive absences cause dropout.

CLASS RULES

• You cannot be in class without your material (your Student's Book).
• Punctuality and use of English in class is really important!
• If you are late, you can not join an activity in progress.
• Use your mobile phone, iPhone, iPad, etc. only for class activities.

OTHER ASPECTS

• A bilingual dictionary is recommended.
• Be ready for your Workbook checks. Give it to the teacher on the assigned date.
• Assessment: Completion and accuracy.
